The Ashford Store is your one stop shop for textile supplies, based at the home of Ashford Wheels and Looms – manufacturers of the world-famous spinning wheels and weaving looms.

We stock the full range of Ashford Wheels and Looms along with a range of quality New Zealand knitting yarns, international and specialty yarns, books, patterns and accessories.

Return Policies

We are happy to exchange any products purchased from the Ashford Store. If you wish to return any products, please contact us prior to returning/exchanging the product. Products must be returned in original condition, with the original sales receipt within 28 days of purchase.

Exclusions: We are not responsible for any postage charges that may incur when returning products. Damaged labels, yarns or modified products will not be accepted for return or exchange. Returned yarn will be weighed to ensure it is the same weight as when it left us. Knitting yarns that do not match the current batch number in store will not be given a refund or exchanged. Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Return payment will be given as the original payment method of sale.

Faulty Items

Faulty goods will be replaced, if possible. If replacement is not possible we will refund the item in the same form that payment was made.

Shipping Information

Your order will be shipped from New Zealand using FedEx International Economy. Once your order has shipped you will be notified by FedEx on your expected ETA. Most shipments arrive within 5 business days.

Although this doesn’t always happen, international orders can incur VAT (Value Added Tax) and/or Import Duties as required by the Customs Agency within your country. If applicable, you will be required to pay this directly to FedEx or your local Customs Agency.

If you refuse a shipment due to Import Duties/Taxes we will refund you less the difference of export and return freight.
